Hello San Francisco Loves :)

I’ve resorted to writing a small post on what I’ve been up to lately just to keep those back at home in San Francisco and my family posted. I know I’ve been insanely MIA since summer started, and haven’t done a good job keeping in touch :/ With that, I’m sorry guys! But here’s a small gist of what’s been happening :)

After applying to countless internships from various sites and even resorting to Googling “Graphic Design Internships”, I have finally heard back from 5 and scheduled interviews with them. 2 of those scheduled interviews did not end up happening to due miscommunication (-__- some know the story), 1 got me the job (PRAISE THE LORD) and 2 of them are coming up this next week. I’m currently working as a Production Intern at Paper Cut Industries which is a small design studio doing well…office work. Though it’s not solely based on graphic design, I’ve been learning a lot from the head designer in which I’m thankful for (minus the complaining heh :P). I’m anticipating the next two interviews, especially one that is focused on graphic design in which is my main practice. Please pray for me guys! It’s with KoreAm Journal/Magazine and I know that if I have this opportunity, it can potentially open a lot of doors :)

Other than that, I realized that I have been living off on God’s grace everyday. He has graciously provided a nice apartment for me to live in over the summer, great potential opportunities at different design studios, and even providing the seemingly small things such as food. I’ve been learning to be thankful and joyful in every circumstance, and to “Think for yourself, Fifi”, as told by Amos. I’ve also been hanging out with old friends, meeting new ones, and really building relationships with the people God has blessed me with :) In which, I’m very thankful for.

I have been feeling homesick lately, but I guess it’s true that believer finds their home in Christ :) There are times where I would sit and meditate upon my Lord and find such great contentment in that, despite how far away from home I am. He is truly our sustainer! :)! PTL indeed.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
