“Happy Study Drink”, as I would like to call it.
Jeff bought me a Starbucks Coffee Frappuccino Coffee Drink in Vanilla a couple of weeks ago, hoping that it would help my drive to the airport at 5 in the morning because I had to drop him off. I politely declined the drink at the time, because coffee and I are enemies. It puts me on hyper mode for a while and devilishly drags me down into an awful crash an hour later. However, I magically made my truce with it a few days ago.
After hours of studying, I was frantically looking for something refreshing and sweet around my room because of a natural craving I have. I opened our mini fridge and found this drink sitting in its unopened and sealed state. As I looked at it, a series of thoughts ran through my head, contemplating if I should break its pristine seal and consume the sweetness of this caffeinated drink. However, I took that risk and drank into that sweet temptation, even though I knew how hard I would crash after a few sips of pleasure.
And to my surprise, I never studied so diligently and as focused before.
Through my hyper stage, my head was running through the textbook, reading line to line understanding each concept perfectly. And in this pace of clear understanding and being awake, I finished my homework and studying before the clock struck 12am (which is considered pretty early for most college students…especially for myself).
After this sweet revelation, I made a quick run to Albertson’s and bought myself two more bottles of these babies. Hello happy study drink.
